Homeschool Support Here

Homeschool Support

Finding the right homeschool support is important. It doesn't matter if your kids are preschool age or all the way through high school, and looking for Homeschool friendly Colleges, you still need a backup or support group on occasion. We update our lists daily, and hope you will submit your site in the form here.

We NEVER charge for our services on this site. You may join free, and list your Family Friendly Homeschool Resource site.

Homeschool support comes in many forms. You may think of homeschooling as being a case where you're the lone educational entity, but nothing could be farther from the truth. You have many sources of support available to you.

Homeschooling is largely a solitary enterprise. The daily operations will mostly be just you and your children. But home school help is available. You just have to look for it.

Everyone needs help sometimes, and homeschoolers are no different. As you learn about all the resources available to you, you'll realize one thing. As a homeschooler, you're not alone.

Homeschool Support Groups

Homeschool support groups are all around you. They are large and small. Some may be local to your specific area, while others cover a much larger territory. They range from the American Homeschool Association to local homeschool support groups. The National Home Education Network, for example is a national group that seeks to create a network of homeschooling peers.

The National Home Education Network strives to simultaneously embrace the similarities and the diversity present in homeschoolers across the nation. It encourages communication among smaller homeschooling organizations for greater collaboration. This communication helps organizations grow, not just because they join together but because they share teaching methods. They learn what works for others and what doesn't, and share that same information from their own experiences.

Other Homeschool Helpers

Aside from groups, there are also homeschool conventions where homeschoolers can develop a sense of community and can build a list of contacts in their area and beyond. These contacts can be used to obtain information or to form new, smaller groups.

These homeschooling support groups can help when homeschool teaching gets tough for you, or when your just looking for a better way to teach.

These groups exist in every part of the country. There are state groups, such as Ohio homeschool groups, as well as regional groups. You only need to start looking to find plenty.

Homeschool support is available in many forms. You're not the only one involved in homeschooling, and you're not the only one who might wish for more of a connection with others who are homeschooling too. You don't need to wish you had more contact with like-minded persons. All you have to do is seek out the right group, or start one of your own.
