In some cases, as in The Number Sheet Puzzle, simple addition may be all that is required. In others, as in The Case of the Missing Bank, the use of squared numbers will be involved. The Pythagoras Solution, The Map on the Wall, and The Mysterious Message, all use a little geometry. Along the way, children will have fun in using an Ottendorf cipher in The Book in the Library. This was made popular in the movie, National Treasure. They will also get a chance in many cases to see some history and geography woven into the stories as I enjoy talking about the greatest country God ever installed upon this earth, The United States of America."
