Learn more about Creation Science

Teaching Creation Science

It is hard to look across the expanse of the mountains or across the seas and not recognize that there is a mighty creator who made all of this.

It is equally hard to look in the book of Job and see where it says that God hung the Earth on nothing, and not realize that this creative God is a knowledgeable creator.

More and more science is proving the Bible was true all along. Despite this fact, many science materials still do not present a view that supports is. Creationism is scoffed at, as can see in Ben Stein’s new movie Expelled. Even the idea of intelligent alien beings creating our planet is preferred to a loving God.  See our Apologetics resources to learn more about this.

Creation science, however, takes the time to break down science, and show how the Bible effectively explains many of the great mysteries of our world.  Parents who would like to offer additional teaching of creation science now have many options available to them. For those in the Cincinnati, Ohio/Covington, KY area there is a new Creation Museum.  This museum takes a Biblical approach to the Bible in a fun and interactive way.  Visit the Museum while in town for the Convention.

But it is not necessary to travel any farther than your own living room to take advantage of the variety of resources available to parents to teach ScienceLet your student’s creativity guide the research. If they are most interested in biological sciences then use one of the many creation science websites to find the answers to questions.

This can also be incorporated as part of a speech or debate class for High school homeschoolers.  You can have your student argue against you or against the arguments presented in a book for evolution vs. creation. This will make the topic more interesting and will also give necessary skills students need to stand up for their faith when they go to college.

As with most subjects, creation science does not need to be taught in a vacuum.
By
combining the topic with other skills a student can use the subject as a spring board to a whole host of possible vocations.

Additional Resources we found for you.

Biblical Discipleship Ministries teach your students creation science through discussions and a 70-page workbook that teaches the error of evolution, abortion, same-sex union, euthanasia, and moral relativism. Each lesson is approximately 1 hour long and includes charts, videos and photos. This is a perfect way for a homeschool science curriculum to be introduced to students.
Creation Illustrated for Creation Science can be taught to your students with this quarterly publication, which shares the wonder’s of Gods creations in three sections: nature, Scripture and living. The publication teaches how to balance mental, spiritual and physical improvement throughout your life, while reducing stress.
Creation on the Web teachs your students the origins of creation by giving your students the answers to common questions, showing them how the Bible is relevant to reality, and provide them with resources (books, magazine, DVDs, etc) that will allow them to build their faith.
